Stockade Polo & Saddle Club Inc. is a 57 acre horse show facility conveniently located in New York State's Mohawk Valley, in the Town of Glenville. Developement began in 1997 with a full size polo field (200 yards x 300 yards) and continued with our first season of horse shows in 2004. With improvements over time, we are now a comfortable location for riding and showing, with four all-weather sand rings of various sizes for several disciplines. Our focus since we started has been on developing a friendly place where riders can gather for Dressage, Hunter and Jumper Shows. Stockade has been host to the Capital District Hunter/Jumper Classic Horse Show for the past six years and Dressage at Stockade (USEF/USDF) competitions since 2007. In addition, our 2009 schedule included a well-attended series of dressage/CT and hunter/jumper schooling shows. For added variety on non-horse show weekends, Stockade's polo field also accommodates AKC-sanctioned lure coursing and oval-track hound trials organized by local dog clubs.
